Dear gliding friends and fans help for Lithuanian Gliding Team in Australia.

The Lithuanian Team is a national team of 3 pilots, 3 crew members and 1 team captain that will represent Lithuania at the World Gliding Championships in Australia from 09 untill 21 of January 2017.

The budged of this project is around €45,000 with a major part funded by the team members themselves along with support from Lithuanian Gliding Federation, sponsors, family members and friends.

The goal of this campaign is to raise €10,000 which would cover the cost of shipping 2 gliders with trailers to Australia by sea container and renting one glider fully ready to race.

Flying our own gliders during the two week race and week of training would be a huge advantage for the team. Racing with famliar equipment and instruments, getting to know local landscape and weather conditions as much as possible is a substantial factor that can help ensure much better final placing in the Championship for Team Lithuania.  

Achieving our goal of €10,000 would mean that the Lithuanian Team could better represent our country on the world stage and make us proud of Lithuania!
